Suntronic’s founder, Jane Wong, started her career in the construction industry as project manager for both government and private commercial projects. For more than 20 years, she specialized in design, construction, addition, and alteration works.
In the two decades, Jane witnessed the explosive growth of data centres (DCs) around the world and quickly realized that conventional security enclosures (i.e., cages) were neither flexible nor cost-effective. Data centre clients wanted enclosures that were robust, secure, time-, and cost-efficient.
In 2013, Suntronic was borne out of Jane’s efforts to develop a niche (modular) security enclosure that will increase productivity for data centres while providing better options to the clients.
By February 2017, Suntronic successfully received design patent for its unqiue modular enclosure which significantly increased the operational and cost efficiency of data centres. In September 2017, Suntronic successfully registered its development for trademark, and SECURE+ was born!
In October 2017, Suntronic proudly showcased the Secure+ ™ Modular Enclosure System at Cloud Expo Asia & Data Centre World exhibition at Marina Bay Sands.
In November 2018, Suntronic DCC Sdn Bhd was formed as part of the company’s expansion into the Malaysian market. In June 2019, Suntronic’s products were well-received by local Data Supplier providers during the the DCD Show in Jakarta.
Suntronic is proud to be an accredited member of BCA, ASME, Singapore Chinese Chamber of C&I.
